This workshop shares recent insights from neuroscientists to enable you to consider change from a different perspective. Learn how the brain reacts to change and how you can use these insights to manage change more effectively for yourself and how you can help others to do the same. The workshop will also consider how we can prepare for future change, developing attitudes and skills that ensure we are 'change ready'.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this workshop, delegates will be able to:

  • Understand different reactions and responses to change from a brain perspective
  • Plan and communicate change to reflect brain preferences
  • Help others to prepare for and adapt more quickly to change

Course Content

The workshop will cover:

  • Defining change - understanding the different types of change and the difference between change and transition
  • How your brain responds to change
  • How your own approach and leadership style will influence the process
  • How to manage yourself through the transition process
  • Explore best practice and avoid some of the common pitfalls
  • How to engage others through the process of change, anticipate and manage resistance
