Getting More Out of Meetings

Date: Wednesday February 13, 2019
Time: 10.00am – 4.00pm
Where: CfLP Cockermouth
Delivered by: Deborah Clarke

When you call a meeting how do the invitees react: do you hear a collective sigh, are people suddenly and unexpectedly "busy"? When the attendees arrive are their heads up or down? Do they bring a feeling of energy and enthusiasm?

Meetings are not always viewed positively but rather as unproductive wastes of time. Yet, approached well and led effectively they are the exact opposite: they afford a valuable opportunity to deliver consistent messages, encourage teamwork and collaboration and allow collective problem-solving. This workshop will provide leaders with insight, tools and techniques to maximise the time invested and to generate positive and rewarding outcomes.
