The Centre for Leadership Performance is a not for profit leadership development company, working to support and develop Cumbria’s leaders for today and tomorrow.

Our activities promote and support the development of leadership potential and ability here in Cumbria and to ensure leadership is seen as a quality that serves everyone throughout their lives from Primary age to Board room. We believe that leadership comes in all shapes and sizes, leadership is the way we behave, not a job role, job title or ‘gift’ and we can all show leadership. Over the past ten years we have built deep connections with businesses, schools, communities and young people across Cumbria, working collaboratively to develop, co-create and deliver programmes that enhance leadership capability and fostering opportunities for everyday leadership because we believe better leadership helps to create better lives.

We work with businesses, educators and young people across Cumbria to ensure we create an inclusive ladder of opportunities.  Connecting young people with businesses throughout their learning journey develops long term relationships that help shape future strategies and interventions to increase skills, knowledge, aspirations and access to opportunities.  We want to thank all the wonderful partners, colleagues, friends and young people we work with who never cease to amaze and inspire us and look forward to continuing this life long leadership journey together
