St Benedict’s Catholic High School – Dream Placement with Responsive Ltd

“I was surprised to learn at the Selection Day about the number and different types of companies operating in Cumbria.  I had never even heard of Responsive before that day but it was interesting to learn about their business areas – Non-Destructive Testing, welding and painting inspection.   I was most excited by the business operations – accounts, administration etc – and I am now thinking about an apprenticeship into that sort of area. 

“The Dream Placement application process was very useful – throughout the process and especially the interviews I felt I gained some useful skills.  I have done a work placement before but it was nothing like this – Dream Placement was much better organised and with a wider scope.  It was definitely a worthwhile way to spend the half term break.”
