Your Future.Here

is an exciting initiative funded by Sellafield Ltd and managed by the CforLP on behalf of Cumbria Future Leaders steering group and partners. It provides a single focus point for all young people in Cumbria thinking about their future to access opportunities and information. Lots of great work is taking place but it is often fragmented and hard for young people in Cumbria or those returning or arriving to know where to go to access information, support, and opportunities. Your Future.Here provides:

• A brokerage network – collaboratively brokering connections between young people, employers and their communities; co-ordinating and promoting existing activity and making opportunities more visible to all
• An interactive website – simplifying access to opportunities and making them available to all young people across Cumbria; harnessing social media to encourage engagement
• A development programme – giving young people the tools, guidance and inspiration to develop the skills, confidence, and resilience to make the most of opportunities
