Rhianna Smith

Project Lead

Born in the Netherlands and raised in Cheshire, Rhianna has lived in Cumbria since 2016. After gaining a degree in Modern History & Politics from the University of Liverpool, she relocated to Cumbria and started working in the hospitality industry, and has a background working in events management.

Rhianna joined the CforLP team in June 2021 to support and drive the post-16 projects, including the Cumbria Future Leaders and Dream Placement programmes.

“Since living in Cumbria I have worked with CforLP through my various roles at other organisations, and have seen first-hand the many different projects they offer and the value they bring to Cumbria. I’m really excited to be part of such a fantastic and dynamic team”.

Rhianna volunteers on the Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC) Shadow Board, a group of young professionals dedicated to giving young people in Cumbria a voice. She is passionate about the opportunities available for students and young professionals in Cumbria, and hopes to tie in this work with her work at CforLP.
