Michelle Jackson

Project Co-ordinator

Originally from Cumbria, Michelle studied Geography at the University of Manchester before beginning her career, which has mainly been in the public sector; with roles in a tourist board, outdoor education and training centre, and local authority Highways, Fire & Rescue Service and Community Development departments. She has also run a small family business and been secretary for a charity in a voluntary capacity.

Michelle’s previous roles have seen her coordinating tourism research projects, organising events, monitoring performance, assessing funding applications and managing budgets.

Michelle joined the CfLP team in January 2021 to support the many activities the organisation manages and supports for young people.

“With two young children myself, I can see the value in developing confidence and skills from an early age, continuing throughout school and beyond, so I’m delighted to be able to work on the fantastic programmes that CfLP offer”
