I recently moved to Cumbria from West Sussex and have worked in a variety of different industries including motorsport engineering, clinical research and horticulture.
As Workplace Programme Manager, I love helping others to be the very best that they can be at work, championing initiatives around leadership, emotional intelligence and communication.
Sophie says, “I see my purpose as giving people across our local communities the skills they need to have meaningful conversations with others they interact with – so often people learn technical skills, but we are rarely taught how to understand others, how to listen or share our opinions constructively.”
