Netherhall School students share their vision to renew Maryport town centre!

In October 2023 we worked with Netherhall School with support from dedicated business volunteers on a ProjX Regeneration Work Awareness Week. The students explored ideas for the development of a recreation area on the green area of Maryport promenade, to renew and reshape the town center, ensuring long term sustainability.

This programme, created in 2019 in partnership with local businesses and funded by Sellafield Ltd SIX, offers an innovative way for young people to experience the world of work focusing on a real time project.

This week was truly special as Netherhall entrusted us to guide a diverse group from their alternative provision. Together, we helped these young individuals navigate a professional environment, developing vital communication and teamwork skills.
