10 West Cumbria schools pitched Leading Change sustainability campaign ideas to Sellafield Ltd

This week 10 schools from West Cumbria delivered their campaign ideas and plans in individual online pitch presentations to a panel of judges from Sellafield Ltd and other organisations.

The panelists:

Each school had a 30-minute online meeting to pitch their campaign plans and ideas in order to release the next stage of funding, which after the Easter Holidays will enable them to bring their campaigns to life.

The panelists all comment on the professionalism of the students and the amazing presentations and presenting skills. They were impressed by the knowledge of the Sustainable development goals and how the school teams were focusing on multiple goals within their campaign. The panellists also commented on the assignment of roles within the school groups and how they were using their strengths and skills sets.

Some great feedback and considerations were given to help the young people as they move forward with their campaigns supported by their all important mentors.
